Ski Racing

Canterbury can boast no less than 3 clubs that have thriving race programmes:

• Team Hutt
• Porter Heights
• Mt Dobson

By far the biggest is Team Hutt where around 70 local and not so local youngsters train each weekend and during the school holidays through the ski season. Many of the team athletes will compete at the events found in the Calendar .

A number of Team Hutt members belong to National squads or teams.

Athletes from Team Hutt and other Regional Programmes compete in races organised by the local regions from fun events to National and International Ski Federation events.
