About CSA
Canterbury Snowsports Association (CSA) Incorporated, or Canterbury Ski Association Inc. as it was known then, was set up in 1952 as an umbrella organisation to assist the New Zealand club fields.
Today the Association has 13 member clubs, from Tukino in the North Island to Fox Peak in the South.
The Association is the direct link for all its member clubs to the National organisations that drive and regulate the snow industry.
We assist our member clubs by promoting their snowsport areas and keeping them up to date with anything that might be relevant to them from the industry.
The Association today has close links with Snow Sports New Zealand, the body that oversees the sporting side of the industry, Ski Racing New Zealand, the body that specifically oversees alpine ski racing and the Ski Areas Association NZ the body that steers the operation of all snowsport areas in New Zealand.
The Association promotes the participation of amateur snowsports in Canterbury through the Kiwiski schools program, the Canterbury SKi Sale and Snowshow and the CSA Snowphone.
